Dan and I loooove Ireland, and we also love Irish Coffee! When we visited Dublin last February over President’s Day weekend, we found a new spot on a food tour with Delicious Dublin Food Tours – Vice’s! Vice’s was our first stop on the food tour and according to our guide, home to the best Irish Coffee in Dublin. I was a bit skeptical, but kept an open mind. Well, spoiler alert, Vice’s was so great that we went back every day of our stay for an Irish Coffee!

Vice’s!
Vice’s is located on the opposite side of the Liffey from tourist-central Dublin, a few minutes walk from Temple Bar and very close to the Spire (the tall pointy monument in Dublin). Located inside a nighttime ping pong club, Vice is cool, hipistery, and takes its coffee very seriously.

Its award winning!
Vice offers three types of Irish coffees – the Plain Jane, the Fancy Frankie, and the Luxurious Linda. The Fancy Frankie is their award winning one, but they are all good. Vice’s also serves non-alcoholic coffee for those not looking to indulge….

The menu!
On our food tour, we were served the Plain Jane. And, it was soooo good! Rich, Irish cream on the top, not too much whiskey (or that I could taste), and really fresh espresso, all hand made by our award winning bar tender!

The Plain Jane on our food tour!
Loving this Irish Coffee so much, we came back each of the next two days. Yes, out of our way just for this Irish coffee, trying both the Fancy Frankie and the Luxurious Linda. After all three, I think the Plain Jane is my favorite. Dan preferred the Fancy Frankie!

More of the Plain Jane.

The Fancy Frankie!

A very happy Danny at Vice’s!
Vice’s is a great find and excellent Irish Coffee in a trendy setting. We cannot wait to come back for New Years!
