Wareontheglobe.com is a travel blog published since 2014, and like many travel bloggers, we occasionally earn income from affiliate links and partnerships. Here’s exactly how that works so you can read this site with full transparency.
Affiliate links
When you click certain links on Wareontheglobe and then book a hotel, buy a product, take a tour, or sign up for a service, we may earn a small commission. You never pay anything extra — the commission comes out of the merchant’s marketing budget, not your wallet.
If you don’t want to use our affiliate links, you can always navigate to those sites directly. We won’t be offended.
Sponsored posts and hosted stays
From time to time, hotels, restaurants, tourism boards, or brands offer us complimentary or discounted stays, meals, or experiences in exchange for coverage. When that happens, we disclose it clearly at the top of the post in question.
What we do not do: publish posts written by anyone other than us, accept payment in exchange for a specific opinion, write reviews of places we have not personally visited, or trade our editorial control for any sponsorship. If we didn’t like the hotel, we still say so.
Display advertising
This site may show display advertising. We don’t control which specific ads you see. If you ever see an ad that’s misleading or offensive, please let us know at wareontheglobe@gmail.com so we can flag it.
