In addition to visiting The Lounge lounge in Panama’s Tocumen International airport earlier this year following a fun week in Panama, we also visited the Copa Club in Terminal 2. Interestingly, we visited this lounge almost a decade ago (in 2016!); I wrote about it here. This lounge has clearly had a major facelift since 2016, and its currently chic and undergoing even more renovations. This post reviews the Copa Club in Panama Tocumen Terminal 2 in 2025.

THE COPA CLUB LOCATION IN TERMINAL 2
Terminal 2’s Copa Club is located on the third floor of Terminal 2 in the Panama Tocumen International airport. Located post-security, flyers walk to Gate 208 and take the elevator or stair to the third floor. It’s not difficult to find. It is also not very far from The Lounge (in fact, it’s just below it). If you are between the two, I would check out the Copa Club first, as its larger, has a better selection of food and drink, and closes earlier (while The Lounge is open 24/7).

ACCESSING THE COPA CLUB
The Copa Club at PTY is available to Priority Pass members, as well as certain Star Alliance flyers. It is open 5:30 AM – 9:00 PM and holds just over 400 people. To enter the lounge, flyers simply present their Priority Pass and boarding passes.

THE COPA CLUB SPACE
The Copa Club in Terminal 2 is pretty large, done in a modern style with various rooms and seating options throughout. There was a lot of construction going on when we visited, so I didn’t get a great feel for the layout, but it felt relaxing. Of note, there is a real bar serving drinks, including upscale rum, and a large buffet area.

There is a TV room in the lounge.

Lots of construction on this visit.
THE COPA CLUB DRINKS
Alcohol drinks are served from this main bar. There were two bartenders working when we visited, and he was pouring drinks pretty quickly. We tipped in cash and didn’t wait for any drinks more than a minute or two. Non alcohol drinks are available near the buffet, including espresso and soda machines.

THE COPA CLUB FOOD
I was optimistic about the food at the Copa Club, but I think we arrived too close to closing to really take advantage of the food. Only a few things were out on the buffet, including a basic pasta, tasty tomatoes, a couple dips, and some small desserts. I have to imagine (and hope) that the food is better during busier hours.

Pasta was the main dish when we arrived.

Some buffet snacks.

Some small desserts.
OTHER AMENITIES AT THE COPA CLUB
Given that we did not spend long in the Copa Club and that it was undergoing partial construction, I did not get a great look around the lounge. I did see signs for showers, which are limited to 20 minutes (pretty standard in lounges). The internet also worked well.
