Loving our Dishoom Edinburgh experience so much, we returned to Dishoom in London (Kensington, specifically) for brunch on the last day of our trip. This post reviews our excellent brunch at Dishoom Kensington.

Rainy Kensington – we even saw a real Dalmatian!
Dishoom Kensington
There are numerous Dishoom restaurants in London, and there is a great one right in the heart of Kensington. We made a brunch reservation a few weeks in advance, but we probably didn’t need it on this wet, January Sunday. In fact, numerous parties walked in around the same time without a reservations and were seated without issue. Dishoom Kensington’s interior, and sign, has an art deco vibe that I absolutely love.

I was loving these lights.

What a cute little booth!
Dishoom Kensington’s Breakfast Menu
As mentioned in my previous post, Dishoom has a specific breakfast menu that is only available during the morning hours. The breakfast menu features various dishes, but we came for the breakfast sandwiches served on naan bread!

Dishoom Breakfast Drinks
Like in Edinburgh, Dan ordered the House Chai, but at brunch, its unlimited. He enjoyed several cups (and got his money’s worth). I ordered the Monsoon Sesame Espresso Martini, which was just delicious (and reminded me of an Espresso Martini that I recently ordered at Din Tai Fung). I also tried the Dhoble cocktail, at the suggestion of our waitress. The Dhoble was also excellent, and a good brunch drink.

Dishoom Breakfast – The Naan Roll
Now for the breakfast food! I had read about the Naan breakfast sandwiches before my visit, and I was already set on my order going into brunch. Of course, I went with the famous Naan Roll! Dishoom’s Naan Roll is a breakfast sandwich made with, of course, its own naan bread. It comes in an egg version, a bacon and egg version, a sausage and egg version, and a egg bacon and sausage version, each served with a tasty tomato-chili jam and coriander leaves. I opted for the full Wrestler’s Roll – egg, bacon and sausage. And, this breakfast sandwich was fantastic!! My only regret was that I didn’t split it, as it was huge. We also split some Dishoom beans because, when in London….
